ABUJA – A groundbreaking addition to the nation’s capital has arrived with the grand opening of Tastia Restaurant and Bakery, setting a new standard in dining excellence. This first-of-its-kind restaurant, a massive N500 million investment, promises to deliver an unforgettable culinary experience.

At the grand opening, Senate Chief Whip Orji Uzor Kalu praised the bold initiative and urged the Federal Government to create special funding for entrepreneurs, highlighting their vital role in stimulating the economy. He commended Agwu for creating jobs and encouraged him to continue expanding to generate even more employment opportunities. Kalu further emphasized that the hospitality sector often suffers from a poor maintenance culture and advised Agwu to maintain high standards as the business grows. He also called for policies that would support more Nigerians in pursuing entrepreneurship, which would, in turn, bolster the nation’s hospitality industry.

The restaurant’s General Manager, Thelma Elijah, announced that the new outlet would feature an à la carte menu, differentiating itself from the usual quick service restaurant (QSR) offerings found at other Tastia locations. She detailed the diverse spaces available at the restaurant, including a VIP section, dedicated areas for birthdays and events, a buffet service, a relaxing space for casual diners, and home delivery options.

To mark the grand opening, free meals were provided to the first 50 guests, a gesture to thank the loyal customers who have supported Tastia since the opening of its first restaurant in June 2020.
